Unknown, “La Mondaine,” Zinc Cast, c. 1890-1910

Features a woman wearing a square-necked, off-the-shoulder garment. Her long hair is fashioned in a whimsical up-do; the bulk of her hair is piled at the very top of her head and the sides hang down even with her mouth at a page-boy length. Her head is turned to the viewer’s left and she looks mildly amused. The bust is sculpted atop a truncated pyramid with gently sloping sides.
